I’ve been working and re-working some old sketches of the page layouts for The Magic Hour and thought I’d show a few of them here. Some of these are very rough sketches, just to give me an idea of what the final page might look like if the book ever actually got completely illustrated and published.
The layouts also help me to see how to divide up the collection. Since it is so many different themes and scenes going on, I think it would work best as a series of mini-collections. Each mini-collection would represent one or two layouts in the book.
I’m not including all of them here. Just a few for posterity.
